Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

1. Duties of Editors
Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for making publication decisions regarding submitted manuscripts based on originality, scientific quality, technical merit, significance, and relevance to the journal's scope.
Manuscript Evaluation: All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening, plagiarism assessment, and a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before a publication decision is made.
Fair Review: Manuscripts are evaluated solely on academic and scientific merit without discrimination based on gender, race, nationality, religion, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.
Confidentiality: Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and all associated communications throughout the review and publication process.
Conflict of Interest: Editors shall not use unpublished materials, research findings, algorithms, software models, or data disclosed in submitted manuscripts for personal research without the authors’ explicit written consent.
Corrections and Retractions: Editors are responsible for publishing corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, or retractions whenever necessary.

2. Duties of Authors

Exclusive Submission: Manuscripts submitted to AIJCS must not be simultaneously submitted to or under consideration by another journal or publisher.
Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant intellectual contributions to the conception, design, implementation, analysis, or preparation of the manuscript.
Data Integrity: Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, validity, reproducibility, and reliability of research data, software implementations, algorithms, and experimental results.
Source Acknowledgment: Proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources, datasets, software libraries, and previously published works are mandatory.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or institutional conflicts of interest that may influence the research.
Research Ethics: Research involving human participants, sensitive data, privacy-related information, or experimental systems must comply with applicable ethical and legal standards.

3. Duties of Reviewers
Confidentiality: Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared or discussed with unauthorized individuals.
Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively, professionally, and constructively without personal criticism or bias.
Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work, datasets, software frameworks, or references not cited by the authors whenever appropriate.
Ethical Concerns: Reviewers should immediately notify editors regarding suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated results, manipulated data, or other unethical practices.

4. Responsibilities of the Journal

5. Misconduct and Malpractice
Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, fake references, image manipulation, citation manipulation, authorship manipulation, and other unethical practices are considered serious forms of academic misconduct.
Manuscripts found to be involved in unethical practices may be rejected, withdrawn, corrected, or retracted depending on the severity of the violation.
Authors involved in serious ethical misconduct may be restricted from future submissions to the journal.
6. Retraction and Correction Policy
Articles may be retracted in cases of proven ethical violations, plagiarism, fraudulent research, fabricated data, manipulated results, or significant errors affecting the reliability of the publication.
Minor errors that do not affect the scientific validity of the article may be corrected through an erratum or corrigendum.
